I started reading horror novels when I was a kid. In grade school my friends were all doing book reports on "My Friend, the Fireman" and I was doing them on "The Demonologist".  I think I freaked out some of my teachers.

The Cast Down series is a work of fiction, but most of the people and places in the books are compilations of people and places I've known in my life.  Some of the situations in the books are based on actual cases I've been on back in my "ghost hunting" days, or have happened to people I've known. Yes, one of my real friends was actually pulled out of her bed by something unseen, and yes, it left claw marks on her leg. 

So, I hope you all enjoy the reading, and I hope the books result in at least a little sleeplessness....

I recently told an old and dear friend, "Dude, I not only live in a trailer park, I work in them. I do evictions. Tell me I am not living the most entertaining life ever ." There are still days when I'm looking around this new little reality of mine and thinking, How did I get here ? Those are the days when I'm quite sure God has a wicked sense of humor. The company now owns fifteen mobile home parks, so that's roughly 375 homes to manage. I've been in each and every one of these homes over the last five years. I've cleaned them, inspected them, painted them, photographed them. We're All Haunted

I began writing Cast Down; A New England Haunting several years ago, but the story itself has haunted me personally for most of my life. The tale is a fictional one but it's based in reality and in memory of a time long in my past.
